She is not immediately sent to seek psychiatric help. Her death is prevented by her roommate, who forced her to vomit the sleeping pills she had been attempting to overdose with by pouring hydrogen peroxide down her throat. Autumn's newest album, Fight Like A Girl, is a musical companion to the novel.
